1.    Companies are eligible to enter if they comply with the two following criteria:

• • Companies must have a legal entity in either the UK or Switzerland but not necessarily be of UK or Swiss origin/ownership
    and
  • Companies must have been involved in doing business between Switzerland and the UK for at least 2 years

2.    Any eligible business – your own or someone else’s – may be nominated.

3.    Applicants must be authorised to enter their organisation into the awards programme.

4.    Entry to more than one category is allowed but separate entry forms and supporting statements are required.

5.    Applicants are allowed to re-enter the awards every year by submitting a new entry form.

6.    Entry is not restricted to Members of the BSCC. Non-members are encouraged to apply.

7.    All entries must be electronic and submitted with the official BSCC Awards entry form.

8.    Entries will only be accepted in English.

9.    All entries are treated in strict confidence.

10.  Privacy policy: The information submitted via the online entry form will be saved on the BSCC server in Switzerland.
       This means that a data transfer will take place for applicants from the UK.

11.  Entries are assessed by an independent and impartial nominations committee which selects a short list that will be passed on to the judges.

12.  The impartial panel of judges consists of 4 head judges (for each award category) and 1 chair judge (overseeing the whole process).

13.  The judges' decision lies in their exclusive discretion and is final.
       Under no circumstances whatsoever shall their decision be subject to any form of appeal or review.

14.  Finalists will be expected to attend the Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday 28th November 2013 when the winners will be announced.

15.  Finalists must agree to publicity both before and after the British-Swiss Business Awards Gala Dinner.

16.  Award winners may state in their advertising/promotional activities and on their stationery that they are a winner but this must include
       the category and the year in which the award was won.

17.  By registering and completing an entry for the awards you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
