What are the British-Swiss Business Awards?
The British-Swiss Business Awards were launched in 2011 with the aim of being the premier business award within the British-Swiss business community. The mission of the Annual Business Awards is to recognise the achievements of companies who have made an outstanding contribution towards bilateral trade and investment between the UK and Switzerland.

Who decides the shortlist? Who decides the winner?
The Business Awards are organised and run by the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce. An independent and impartial committee oversees the nomination process. The nominations committee is responsible for selecting a short list of nominees that will be put forward to the judges. If a committee member has a connection with or represents a nominated company/individual then he/she is excluded from discussions on submissions for the relevant categories. The judges score each submission from the shortlist, announce the finalists, and select the winners that score the highest in each category. More information on the Judging Process.

How do I nominate the company I work for?
Complete the Entry Form and submit supporting documents electronically. Registration for the 2013 business awards will open shortly.

How many categories can I enter?
You may enter as many categories as you like but separate entry forms and supporting statements are required for each category that you enter.

Does it cost anything to enter?
No, there is no fee to enter the British-Swiss Business Awards.

When is the nomination deadline?
The final entry date for the 2013 awards is the 15th June 2013.

Any person, group, or organisation complying with the terms & conditions can submit an entry.

Yes, entry is also open to non-members.

The 2013 awards ceremony takes place on Thursday 28th November at the Four Seasons Hotel in Geneva.

If I am announced the winner will I have the opportunity to make a speech?
Winners will have the opportunity to make a 1 minute speech on acceptance of their award.  Please be prepared for this possibility by ensuring you have a company representative in attendance, who will represent you on stage to accept the Award.

The Gala Dinner is open to everyone. It is the perfect event for rewarding staff, entertaining clients and making new contacts.
