The BSCC is delighted to support the launch of the first ever British-Swiss business awards together with Lloyds TSB Private Banking.

Successful trade and investment between countries has become even more important in a global market which is constantly and repeatedly challenged by protectionist tendencies. In Geneva, the home of the World Trade Organisation, it is fitting that we launch our awards programme  which pays tribute to those companies making a contribution to the British and Swiss economies. Through our work at the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, we have been able to support many British and Swiss companies in achieving their business goals as well as to provide access to a flourishing business network.

Many, but by no means all of these companies, are not yet widely known and for this reason, in addition to more traditional awards, we have introduced the category of an “unsung hero” award. Some of the most successful companies have been     founded in the most unlikely and humble surroundings and we are keen to support those on the cusp of market impact.

We are proud to partner with Lloyds TSB private Banking on the British-Swiss business awards and encourage both BSCC members and others to apply. Finalists and winners will be celebrated at a special Awards Dinner on Wednesday 30th November 2011. We look forward to welcoming you in Geneva.
